Ways You Can Support First Book Club 165
Book Donations
First Book Club 165 needs book donations to share with students. Donate new or gently-used children's books for grades K-6. Donations may be made at Lawrenceville First Baptist Church, 165 S. Clayton Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Drop off Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Coordinate a Book Drive
Local community organizations and/or school clubs can organize book drives to support First Book Club 165. Need help organizing? Contact us at bookclub165@gmail.com so we can support your book drive. All donated books will be shared with the children in the Lawrenceville community.

Monetary Donations
Monetary donations allow us to purchase new books for students or ship gently-used books to our organization. Donations also help offset the cost of moving books to the schools each spring. A $50 donation will buy ~30 books. Donations may be sent to Lawrenceville First Baptist Church. Please indicate funds should go to First Book Club 165.

Sort and Package Books for Schools
Each fall First Book Club 165 orders large shipments of books to give to the students. Join the community on the Lawrenceville First Baptist Church campus to organize and pack books to deliver to the schools.

Distribute Books at Schools
This is the best part of First Book Club 165! Each May, we set up a Book Fair at the schools. Students are given a bag and instructions to choose several books from the fair. Volunteers are needed to help students select books, replenish books between classes, pass out bags to students, and more. ​
Due to COVID-19, dates and opportunities for May 2022 are TBD.
Donate Adult Books
First Book Club 165 also supports the Gwinnett County Jail. Inmates housed here are in need of books to read. Adult paperback items may be dropped off at Lawrenceville First Baptist Church, 165 S. Clayton Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Books must be paperbacks.
